Nord Lead Laser Harp

This tutorial covers a lot of basic synthesizer programming using a Nord Lead 2, and specifically targets how to approach the Elka Synthex “laser harp” sound Jean Michel Jarre has famously used. One of the core concepts is oscillator sync / hard sync / sync lead. This is a technique used in a lot of analog synths in the ’70s and 80s which provides an aggressive cutting sound.

Follow along step-by-step and you will have no problem understanding how to achieve this sound, and many extra sounds besides.
